@@jayguitar apparently supply chain issues, Boss say they are redesigning the unit, so once current stocks are gone .. then they're gone! (and I'm sure used prices will sky-rocket)

Very cool! I hear you about the gain level. Funny thing - I finished up the first solo that I did and then went over to the amp and the gain was at 1/3rd! I usually have it floating around 2/3rds up. Great little amp for sure. Have an awesome day!

Hey Neil, thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Yes same works with the Stage. The hardware is the same between stomp and stage - with the stomp 4.0 firmware, it makes the stomp into a mini stage now so all the functionality is pretty much the same between both. Hope that helps. Have an awesome day!

Hey Peter, some tube amps are for sure, especially vintage amps. But most modern tube amps are pretty rock solid now. Modellers are excellent these days but there is still something very very very special about using a tube amp. There is a magic that happens with glowing tubes 😊 Have an awesome day!

Hey Gabe, how’s it going? I hear you man. I’ve tried with the Helix a while back and I feel the Ampero II amp models are better sounding and feeling also. Have an awesome day!

@jayguitar I'm good Jay! I've been doing a couple simple amp mods lately and writing new tunes for my band. I do like some models in the Helix but what I've found I like best is to run a real analog pedal into it to boost their amp models and that seems to give it more of the right feel to me. Hope you're been well!

I prefer the sound of Ampero over Line 6.. for amps, for effects Line 6 are probably better but the effects tones aren't perfect for Line 6 either. I know I'm not alone in that, but Line 6 does have a lot fans as well. Also, you get can the Hotone stuff a lot cheaper if you shop in the right places.

Hey dude, I much prefer the sound of the Ampero over the Helix. Also, the Stomp which has the same hardware/software/sounds is actually around $100 cheaper then the Helix Stomp 😊🙏🏽 Have an awesome day!
